THE HISTORY OF INCENSE

The incense has been known to mankind for centuries.
The use of incense dates back to biblical times and may have originated in Egypt, to spread fragrance, drive away demons and gratify the presence of gods.
Incense artifacts thousands of years old have been found throughout the world have been found and appears to be part of every culture.
The Babylonians used incense extensively while offering prayers
It spread  to Greece, Rome and India, where people still burn it in their rituals and at festivals.
